| Police prevent an ambulance from entering Ardoyne. Streets in the area are blocked for 2 hours in the mornings and again for 4-6 hours in the evening. Observers have counted up to 200 police and army vehicles. PSNI officials have reported the use of up to 3000 personnel for just Ardoyne. Residents cannot move around the area. Many complained that they were not allowed to go to evening Mass at Holy Cross Church which lies just outside of the cordoned area. | |||
