The Ulster Freedom Fighters build a bonfire prior to July 11 near the Ormeau Road, a nationalist area. . Small fires burn throughout the construction process. Young men sit on a couch that will be thrown into the fire. Many in Belfast use the fires as a way to dispose of old furniture which is treated with chemicals, increasing the noxious fumes.
